My name is Tracey Matthies and I bring a wealth of life and career experience to Unique Life Ceremonies. I am an Authorised Marriage Celebrant and a member of the Australian Federation of Civil Celebrants.
If you value a professional who is mature and experienced in public speaking, then you’ve found her.
I have served as Master of Ceremonies for wedding receptions and business events, written and delivered eulogies and presented readings at funerals. I have also conducted numerous trivia quizzes for a variety of community and social groups.
On the professional front, I have worked in radio and newspaper journalism, marketing, copywriting and event organisation. Success in these fields comes from listening, understanding and interpreting the stories, hopes, dreams and plans of others. You can also rely on my business management experience to bring a high degree of professionalism and organisation to your special day.
I apply all these skills and talents, plus my Life Skills celebrancy training via the Academy of Celebrancy, and Funeral Celebrancy training at The Gordon TAFE, to the design and delivery of your unique life ceremony.
I think it goes without saying, but just in case you're wondering, I support marriage equality. In fact, I cried with joy when the marriage equality bill passed in the Australian parliament in December 2017.
P.S. I love hats but will always discuss with you whether I will wear a hat on your special day!
